Green Flying Panda gathers every information about your customers’ activity, but it’s up to you to decide which aspects to explore by using segments.
So, how does it work?
Divide & Conquer
Segments are groups of customers who share common Conditions you choose, like age, search history, previous purchases, etc.
Creating smaller circles allows you to have a more detailed look on your customers’ patterns, thus understanding their interests and necessities.
And what can we do with that information?
Product Catalogs per Segment
Now you don’t need the complex multiple stores/websites/URL’s and rules to give products access to a specific group of people. And since Customer Segments can be manually or dynamically assigned, you don’t have to worry about updating your customers segment entries.
Just like with all of our extensions features, the point of segmenting is to customize each customer’s experience in your store.
Manually creating a different campaign for each customer would be impossible for a big company, but that doesn’t mean you have to generalize!
Segmenting will result on a subset of customers with the same or similar needs – this way, you can customize your campaign for each segment instead of for each client without losing the personal approach!
Manage Segment Access
Restrict access to pages, products, product categories and blocks to certain segments. You can use this feature to create Private Sales for chosen customers!
Once again, purchase amounts and customer loyalty might be indicators to consider.
